Facing one of the most severe droughts on record, we are in a State of Emergency.

Country clubs and tree-lined, grassy lawns waste so much water - some with broken sprinklers gushing out precious H2O on the streets.

A new law to cut water use by 30 percent may not be enough to help at this time. It's too little too late in terms of the goverment response because we have had little rain.

Since 2012 and nothing has been done by those in charge until this year. Our leaders are so short sighted and unable to act quickly or effectively that they should be fired.

We need people who can do the job well.  As a group the people of California need to lead in conserving water now - let your lawns go brown or switch to drought resistant landscaping.  Recycle gray water - reuse it to water the plants.
