As the blood rushes from my face

I turn a whiter shade of pale

I can't believe you had that nerve

You have more tenacity that I thought

Though I am smarter than you can possibly ever be

I will rise above this

You are the master of lies and the bringer of dark

But there is no redemption for you here

You have destroyed all that was us

A flittering dream

Out of reach

On the verge of waking

You are dead

To me

So take this knife from my back

So that I can now sleep

And with you I will lose track

In your thoughtlessness, You weep
