Misery: thine love’s infatuation.
Alas! Frolic abate; writhe in discontent.
Rebuke not the bitterness of dejection,
Alay thy fears of solitude; lament.
Didst not thy misogyny bring grieving?
Nay, my surreptitious supplications
Inflict none but my imposed concealing.
Potent shadowing, reverberations;
A willow in a copse of conifers.
Sting do these needles on my affliction.
Limb’s undulate: rigidity’s caress.
My loving precipitates derision.
Tethered shall my soul remain, bereft;
Misconstrued plight; limbs raised, misery laughed.
