This piece is a romantic story telling. It touches all kinds of themes. Have a think and tell me what you think.

There are maggots on my mind,
That rot away my thoughts,
You kindle a fire and force them scurrying away,
And I consume those same flames that I must breathe in,
hail my last breath of icy smoke as I reign insane,

Like a scarlet scaled dragon,
I am hovering over my prey like a hawk,
And begin to plummet to the face of the earth face first,
For just one kiss as I sacrifice my life for that one thing called love,
I feel a turbulence,
The sonic boom shreds everything I hear,
The velocity tears my skin like a potato being pealed,

My lips open and blossom,
like a blood red rose on a dark summer night,
As I hone onto your lips like they were my life's target,
A red robin would perch itself upon them,
And edge me ever so slightly closer to yours,
We meet, the robin flew away in time,
Time stops, I'm granted my wish,
I leaned in from the sky for a kiss,
It was everything I dreamed,
And I'm glad I did die for this,
You were the stronger one,
No one would have thought this,
Yet I always did,
You stand impervious as I diminish,

Sprawled out on a burning barren wasteland,
Legs and arms broken like a splintered tree trunk,
Feathered wings broken like a fallen angel,
Tail broken like kamikaze aeroplane's,
Chest broken yet unlike a broken heart,
Lips unspoiled,
Removed from my jaw though,
And still rosey red,
For you to place kisses upon,
After my romantic death,
You cherish my sacrifice until the end of your days,
