Rain flows in, slow and heavy,

A ship pulling into shore.

Some hate how it turns the sky grey,

But others can see past the color change.

They see it nourish, grow, and serve,

Paving the way for life to give birth.

It delivers its goods to the Earth,

Then with great girth

Slips back to sea.

Even those who had their heads down

Will relish the change the rain will leave,

Through the mist you will see,

The renewal of life all around.
