There she was, the purest essence of beauty.

She had brilliant auburn hair

or maybe it was the hues

of color

reflected off of the magenta background.

Her hands were cupped together

to show a symbolic gesture

maybe displaying

her own magical hold on the world.

A world described in the most unrealistic

of all storybooks

but to her the image was real...

as she softly closed her eyes.

Beneath her eyelids was a vast display of mountains

lightly covered with snow

but the white covering

just barely disguised

the sharp-edged sides.

One solitary path led to the highest of all peaks

a path that was being stampeded

with the most beautiful white unicorns

they ran to reach their destination

oblivious to a single formation

standing out against the pale moon.

The shape was that of a unicorn so white-

it appeared to be fluorescent; and that was the direction

the star dust was floating as the beautiful

auburn-haired girl blew the hope of tomorrow.

It was only then that she opened

her twinkling eyes to the "real" world.
