Somewhere in the reverie

a voice calls out my name.

Telling me where to go,

which direction to travel-

to help me find my way.

A few more lonely miles

will lead me to a place

I long to be-

A few more solitary twists

and heaven shall oversee.

The voice seems somehow familiar now

I wonder who speaks out?

An old friend from some forgotten memory?

Which ceremonial words should I shout?

As I concentrate on listening

I hear the wind take flight-

Creating an illusion of hope so strong

*Unyielding* as I finally see the light.
