How do you ever really know if love is real?

Behind the mask of doubt

the search for sincerity

carry me away, someone let me out.

Its something in the way

your eyes, swallowing up in spite

uncertainties leave me hollow

time to give up the fight.

Simplistic dreams to hold me through

my patience drawing near

connections in the walk of life

giving hope to a picturesque view.

The images become so clearly etched

I wonder how I might start

to quest with eyes

that cannot see

-yet visually follow-

the path to my heart.
