Return

By J Woods

Fear not bound within my mind

Attempt to defeat me and you will find

That I am not built of merely clay

But gifted by Elohim Spirit some do say

I shall not grovel from the pain

My mind recalls my recent shame

My body failed my spirit faltered

My mind left darkness on that alter

Pain is given in the fight

To train oneself in Warrior's might

My heart still beats and will not fail

My lungs still breath as the wind unveils

The mysteries of Ancient I do I seek

Begone from me oh weakness, I need not sleep

Stay back oh wicked with your lies

Fall back oh cowards lower your eyes

Behold the power of my mind

My body gets stronger as clocks keep time

No death bed, or sick bed, nor fear does keep me

The return to strength I beseech thee

As a mist that dissipates through Sunday

Leave my Heart not a chosen one

Begone from me oh sins of Eve

Let his breath fill in me

Let me live once again

But in your glory let me weave

Spirits of Old hear me now

Ancestors proclaim, I will not bow

Assist me in my call to fight

With Dragon's breath define my sight.

You I honor who showed me truth

Virtue through pain do I choose

Not even he who rules this earth

Could turn my detest for your spiteful words

Watch me now risen again

See how blessed I return from thence

Clear my sight you see you must

For my sword seeks vengeance you must trust

No son of Adam, no daughter of Eve, shall keep me from what destined be.
