A poem about how God views us

Oh little seed, oh little seed,

Do you know what you mean to me?

I know you’re not a tree so tall

That sheds its leaves in the fall.

I know you’re not very strong

So small, easily lost in a throng

I know you’re not standing out

and have been kicked about.

Others try to keep you down,

So let me tell you this now:

You are perfect; it is true.

You make a difference by being you

People smile when you’re around.

No one can muster a little frown.

Your presence is just enough

To lighten a room; ‘tis no bluff.

You bring smiles, and laughter, too.

There is no reason to be so blue

You are you, and they are they.

Do not listen to what they say

You are royal, a child of mine,

That is endless, just like time.

You are loved for being you;

You are able to make it through

This life, the ups the downs,

So there is no reason to frown.

You are perfect; you are mine.

That will not change throughout time.

Oh little seed, oh little seed,

Do you know what you mean to me?

I liked the poem, though it seemed a little long and I began to loose interest, but that is my personnel feeling and may not affect others the same way. I love the simplicity and the straight forward meaning that is easily grasped. Thanks for an enjoyable read.
