Biting my nails,
Pulling my hair,
Trying to fight it,
And not look like I care.

My fears are departed,
My mind is still shaken,
The addiction will stay,
Till my whole body’s taken.

The craving is senseless,
The drugs are my light,
Keeping me awake,
All through the night.

My vision is blurry,
My eyes start to close,
I backstab my friends,
And block out my foes.

I’m hidden by a wall,
Built of my fear,
I have an addiction,
And the end isn’t near.
