I can't say the words
Because words don't describe
Words can't explain
How you make me feel inside
With your bright dark brown eyes
Glancing softly in mine
Fingers are intertwined
I think I am alive

Dear, I'm sick
with an illness of a glorious kind
Where my coughs are my laughter
and fever of mind
I don't remember the last time I said
Those three words that are us
That don't escape my head
Your arms are my hospital bed

If love is a roller coaster ride
Then ours keeps going up the track
They expect us to come crashing to the ground
But into the sky we crash
With the stars as our friends
The planets whisper promises that we'll never end
Our heads in the clouds
The comets' tails trail our tale aloud
