depression is like an abusive relationship, never ending the constant abuse to the sufferer.

I remember the first time I met you.

How you were my sweet escape

to isolation and silence. I remember

the doubts you'd put in my head,

that shook about. I remember how'd

you PUT ME DOWN, and spit on

my face so I pray to thee now leave

me alone in this place.

I remember the cuts and blood that

followed, I remember the choking sounds escaping

my throat as you choked me because of your

thoughts that had become....

me.

So many suffer from depression; no battle

easy to win. So many died and left behind while

others struggle ahead. I pray thee....

Life gets better, depression gets smaller.

the pain HEALS then is reopened

but I pray thee listen and be aware....

someone loves you out there.
