I remember the stories, stories

of cats & dogs. Stories of love

and hate.

I remember those as if I

myself would become

part of that story. Yet

you see I am not just

another story.

I'm a promise, a curse,

a LIE. I am a foever

turning page & writing of

forever new words. Some

say never judge a book by

its cover; now I say read a

few chapters to look learn

the title.

Not all promises are kept from

those of a curse. The spilled in

on the pages of a story to not be

read. I'm that. I remember and

scribble my way to the next page

for you.

A story to lay down and love, to cry

but still turn my worn pages. To

hear our minds reach out and

hear the water fall so far away yet

you still image it.

I am the faded letters of lovers wrote

only to have dried tears on my once

bright paper. You see no one accept

you can move on.

You can drowned me throw me tear me

up but someone will read. Someone will

always listen. For it is not I who was

written; I wrote myself.
