She has no face. She has no name. She's just there.Forgotten by everyone. She folds into herself, willing the world away. She has a mouth but it's been stitched shut.Abandoned by everyone she's ever loved, she backs into a corner, afraid someone might see her.Self-mutilation at the stroke of midnight, just to reassure herself that she could still feel something.Anything.Images of a broken past flip through her head as she wonders if she could ever move on.Brothers are supposed to love you, but not in that way.Mothers and fathers are supposed to protect you, not run away. She's obsessed with perfection, but knows it nonexistent. She thinks too much. It's all too much. She takes the knife and plunges it deep. She cries for help, but knows no one will come running. She closes her eyes as she admits defeat, and sinks down, hoping for some final peace.
