I don't know why she came to me

Seeking answers

The same ones I seek

I know what it's like to feel so alone

Bad family

No friends

And a broken home

I wish I knew the words to say

What can I do to make her stay?

It's frightening to me how much she hates life

Seeking solace in her knife

I beg her not to do it

To stick around

I pray to God

My knees hit the ground

She just doesn't see how much people care

All of the love

Of which she's not aware

She says "it would be better if I went away"

Words more untrue

She could never say

I don't pray often

Put I pray now

God, she needs to get through this

Please show her how

She says "I will not cut any more"

And I hope to God it's true

I hope you can see

TJH

How much I care for you.
