Electric Jello

I am Electric Jello, I am the laid-back mellow one who pricks and nicks as worry

picks and ants crawl thorugh my brain--

Who smokes and jokes those those finger hopes and listens to the wind.

Crows call at my back and people die, people I've been told I love curl up and

Blow away, like leaves crunched beneath my feet, brown crust of once was sweet,

Still clings to mind and eye.

Electric jello, chance to meet me, do not sweep me into the cobweb class,

Content to act as fools have said, crimson heat I simmer,

Then scratch out phrases that glow red and bury them deep within my head.

Electric jello, never said--

Although I bleed soft bellows.
