Regarding the facts about watches and there journey till now.

Today, watches are found in both digital form and analogue mechanical form. They are found almost everywhere you look, but have you ever wondered about the history of watches? The sundials displayed in some museums, which has become a piece of modern culture, were more an object of function in earlier days. The success of watches was born out of necessity of human beings to manage their daily activities.

Watches that we use today for our time management have evolved much earlier than we can ever think. Sundials were incredibly the most important time keeping devices in ancient civilization, which enabled modern people to organize their lives and businesses. The first archeological proof of sundials dates back to 742 BC. Watches, ever since their invention, have received very steady rate of upgrades and innovations. However, mass production of personal watches went during 1900s, when people realized that wristwatches are more portable than pendulum or other clocks. Do you know that Greenwich became Prime Meridian, when people felt the need for global standardization of time at the end of 18th century!

Watches enable us to create today’s modern world. Human beings have always tried to improve things used by them for daily purposes. Watches have been made more portable and reliable with the invention of smartwatches by Apple Inc.
