A tribute to the arch enemy in the Batman series: The Joker. The reference to Heath Ledger doesn't mean that he is the only good Joker *I loved Jack Nickleson*, it means I am paying tribute to him because he was good and died.

How would it be if they could see?
If they could see as well as me?
The darkness turned, no sun can make
This twilight dawn evaporate.
“The time will come”, they all have said,
“That we will have the Jokers head”
They say it all with perfect ease,
Their mockery, light chattered breeze.
Does it reach the Jokers head?
No… The Joker, at last is dead.
He died the night Heath Ledger died,
January 22, his brain had fried.
Some say the Joker came too late.
Gotham city in an awful state.
Full of plans and aims and goals,
You blew it to a dozen holes.
I say the Joker came too soon,
His sadistic genius just in bloom.
Too young to be appreciated,
Mockery anticipated.
“Why so serious?” you say,
And serious has blown away.
We laugh and cheer at your evil schemes
(Not evil, we say, just some man’s dreams)
And dream you did, while clad in knives,
Making up those silly wives.
What really happened to your face?
We’ll never know, without a trace.
And while it’s neither here nor there,
Your jokes remembered everywhere;
Your scars are traced on every face,
So many left to plead your case.
And why you left so much behind?
The secret’s locked within your mind
Though we once cheered at the thought of you,
And dream of you, we’ll always do
We’ll miss you here in your school bus
Your image burned inside of us.
We will sing and laugh and play
And do as you did everyday
And so for you, the Joker king
This lament song, we’ll always sing
We’ll sing against the just and true

Remember Joker, we love you….
