Once upon a time, a long time ago, not far from the city of Accra, a farmer went to dig some yams from his garden.  While he was digging, one of the yams said to him, "Go Away and leave me alone!"The Farmer turned around and looked at the cow in amazement. "Did you say something?"  The Cow didn't answer, but the dog said, "The Yam spoke to you. The yam says to leave him alone."  The man became very angry, so he kicked a stone. The stone yelled, "Hey, cut that out!"  frightened, the man ran to the village.  On the way, he met a fisherman carrying a large fish.  "whats your hurry?" the fisherman asked.  "My yam is talking to me! My Dog is talking to me! The Rock is talking to me!" Screamed the farmer."So whats the fuss?" the fish answered.  "Besides," the fishing pole added, "you shouldn't kick rocks."  The Farmer jumped, yelled, and went running to the king.  "My yam is talking to me!  My dog is talking to me! The rock is talking to me!" Screamed the farmer.  "Then a fish talked to me, and a fishing pole too!"  The King listened to the farmer.  Finally, he said  "This is a wild Story! Go back to your work before I punish you for Distubing the peace!"  The Farmer went away and the king shook his head.  "What a silly story. Stories like that upset all the people."  "You're right,"  answered his throne.  "Imagine, a talking yam!"
