She should of seen this coming a mile away, the ignored phones calls, stupid exuses for abstances. She looks up from her feet into the eyes of the guy she once trusted with her heart. His once happy, warm, green eyes replaced with cold soul-less ones. He opened his mouth to say something but then he closed it right back up. She couldn't take the silence any longer, she had to say something..anything.

"This isn't as easy as i thought it would be." she admits

he looks up at the cloudy dark sky and sighs.

"Leah, listen to me i promise i'll change, it was just one stupid mistake i made."

"no it wasn't you saw this girl behind my back more then once did you not?" she says.

" ...yes...but please forgive me? i wont do it again, now its clear to me i dont want the other girl, i wasnt thinking, but now i am, and now i know that the only one i want is you...i love you."

Their was another silence between them for while. She wanted to believe that, but she knew she couldn't, she knew he couldn't be trusted anymore..not after what he did.

" let's just forget this, all of this and go back to how things were, forgive me?" he begs.

"No. this can't ever be the same, the love i felt for you is gone, you betrayed me erik, took me me for a fool, theres no way i could ever forgive you for that."

"Leah, dont you understand?! i just dont want to lose you! I love you, doesnt that mean anything to you?!" he exclaims

" it did before..but now my mind's been made up."

yes her mind was indeed made up but it doesnt mean her heart was. She did still love him.

"s-so is t-this goodbye?" he stutters

She held in tears as she spoke.

"Yes."

He held his arms out for one last final embrace. But she could'nt do it, she felt as if she did fall into his arms she would never let go. so she just looked down at the ground being speckled by rain drops. He let his arms drop slowly to his sides. Another silence is exchanged as they listen to the rumble of thunder from a far. Then she looked into his eyes one last time and he looks back.

"Goodbye.." he whispered softly

"....goodbye."

she took one step back so did he and then they started to walk their separate ways, as the rain poured heavily on them mixing with their tears...
