The BlackPool Jamboree

By John Jimoh

A thousand and more thousands leave no boredom

Upon my call for an adventure in the Blackpool

A secret lurch in my furs in the glare of all,

Carting merit a clause for my giddy exploit

Working hard like the zeal of a drunken man

My trip to ensure in the holidays by my daddy

The serenity of the coastal hamlet in Lancashire

Blows a wind of placidity that wells my being

The light-cast on the beach turns the world blue

The sand stretches across the seafront like the

Cloud that wears the heavens a beautiful attire

Casting crowns and healing gowns on the bleaks

The piers so charming in the pleasure beach

The Birley Street light gives the Promenade

An amiable looks of a nation far away the sky

The musical lines that filters from within

The bars, the zoo, the fun, the shipwrecks

The towels, the funny damsels,

That high tide organ of the beach forming a wall

The clapping of the sea water with lyrical beats

Sends impulse that quivers my being

Even my nightmares never give it a miss

As I made Blackpool visit cancerous at home

That sparkles

That gives my only sister an obsession

That makes my mom hums some of the lyrics

That charms my dad's eyes to the collectibles

That gives me an air of firmness in my class work

Blackpool visit sends to us the adventure of many

Memories that sing the song of rejuvenation to

The tinkling ears, a jamboree ever in the loose

Laid in a city made of gold
