See the sparkle in her eyes,

 I say it's no shock-surprise,

For her love now does realise,

There wasn't to be goodbyes.

Her feet dance and her heart is light,

By the cusp of the waning, moonlit night,

She believed with all her might,

This memorable moment was soon in sight.

Many a long, empty night did she weep,

Though brave and tolerant she did reap,

A young babe of innocence in her keep,

War warrior's tales just cut so deep.
