CHAPTER ONE

Thinking about it currently confirms that it should not have happened the way it did. We all knew it was dangerous and ill planned. It was a ticking time bomb of failure with no possible positive outcome. How could something good come out of this? The thoughts continued to circle my mind about the events that just happened. I’m daze of non-caring and ignoring the now. I’m snapped out of my nightmare daydream as a loud smash of glass and metal pieces hitting the ground. Let me back up a minute and reflect what just happened again for the infinite time. We are in a warehouse located at the back of a ‘well known’ supermarket chain. The usual type of large corporate greed empire with a billion parking spaces, well not quite but you get the idea. It is about eleven o’clock at night. The warehouse area is typical. High shelving, products stacked high and dusty. It is cold with a faint smell of mould in the air. Four of us are still in the store and three of us are in the warehouse trying to sort the complete balls up of this thing. A simple crowd controlled, no casualties, money grab without anyone suspecting a thing, in and out robbery. It seems someone screwed up the info and did not tell us about a staff birthday party being held. Thirty one staff members and now nine of them are dead and four children. Why? We had secret madman within our camp. The newcomer recommended by our contact. What a mistake.
