I sit here and dream,
the light is reflecting,
telling a tale of its origin.
And here i sit
watching it illuminate
attempting to capture it,
a picture of worth.

Value unmistakable,
it will always delight in its viewers heart
Cleansing them, and
Speaking of higher truths.
Pretension is present.

Inspiration is all around,
or so they say,
but surely it is more
than around, it
can be found
but not merely by looking.

Choosing its target,
It will not allow itself to be stumble upon.

Is this a contradiction,
Or is there more
A lone mind wondering,
Under a tree.
An apple falling,
Is it merely destiny?

Should we envy
those that stumble
but for so much, see
an attempted illusion
that this is for you and me.

Is god present,
an all pervading force
drawing these thoughts
onto whatever they might see

And all this time wondering,
sitting here dreaming,
Is god speaking to me.
