We burned through the outskirts of Mexico hurling towards San Diego.  Beads of sweat trickled down my forehead and cheekbones and the smell of old cigarette smoke lingered in my nostrils. Dusk was vastly approaching and the beating sun was drowning in the red sky,  past the desert horizon.

Steam surged from the concrete slabs, car bonnets and rooftops as we clattered through sandy dirt paths in our 1996 Chevrolet Chevelle, with the boisterous engine spluttering along. Arriving at the heart of Mexico we scrutinised the spewing city smoke, street lights, dusty land, volcanic craters, bars, saloons, intriguing people, exotic food stools, extravagant musicians, families on the sidewalk and all these amazing sights and encounters which reward us for our life 'On the the Road'.

Whilst admiring the bewildering allure of Mexico, I took a breath of the softest air I'd ever tasted, and took a minute to reminisce my voyage. There was a continuous atmosphere of excitement throughout our days spent on the road, but for us, we were excited for life itself.  After all, \"the road must eventually lead to the whole world\".
