this is a poem about loving someone so much, but knowing that they will never be yours... however you care about that person so much that you just want to wish them the best in life and see them happy no matter what. even if it kills you

a smile on your face,

bring tears to my eyes,

the joy in your heart,

creates pain inside of mine,

your mind may be at ease soon,

but mine will be restless,

your lungs will be filled with life,

mine will be breathless,

your heart will beat with happiness,

mine wont beat at all...

your soul will rise to the heavens,

mine will slip and fall,

your eyes will see the light,

and shadow mine in darkness,

for once you'll feel true bliss,

i'd be lucky to feel at all...

however...

 at the same time,

your smiles make me smile,

your joy brings me joy,

and your happiness makes me happy,

though it kills me deep inside...
