On her phone
She keeps a photo
Of a flower and a butterfly and blue sky
Taken by a placid lake
Upon a shared summer day gone bye
She looks upon it night or day
And she gets emotional
Happiness or sadness comes
Tears she may cry
Precious moments
A sunny day
A lasting memory
Such serenity and shared solitude
Came that day
She smiles and recalls
It did not pass her by
And in his heart is her joy
Her heartfelt smile
That he has kept as treasured
All this while
