When you travel through life’s journey
And your sorrows show no mercy,
You ‘re feeling so defeated
No burdens have been lifted

In a world full of many
It seems you’re all alone
No one to calm a lingering moan
No one to care indeed
To save you from a tasking plight
To shelter you from fright

Somehow, Somewhere a friend appears
That friend my dear is God
In his hand, a shepherd’s rod to count you in his fold
In his sight you have the right
to claim your vic-to-ry

So listen now and listen well
Your future stands a chance,
When troubles pass, we’ll gather round
And have a hero’s dance.
