Naila lived alone in a one bedroom apartment. Every morning, during her daily walk she would smell the pansies by the poolside. Her face glowed, the wind blew and she would smile at the birds as they flew. She lived in solitary with no friend in sight, not even a pet. After Nalia finished her awe-inspiring walk, she would sit in front of a mirror, put on some lip gloss, eye shadow and smile at her own self-image. Her natural beige skin would sparkle as her brown eyes glare and her hair would shine. She walks gracefully near her bedroom window and she sings a beautiful harmony while looking at the gentleman who lives transversely from her. Nalia sees him in her dreams after her deep sleep, she rises. She jumps up, runs to her bedroom and stares at him. After her passionate gaze towards him, she felt she needed a sense of nature. She walked along the sidewalk and admired her neighbor at a distance. Nalia thought to herself, “He is taller than me by half a foot, dark hair, fair skin and he has the most beautiful blue eyes.” She was thrilled and she noticed that he was alone. As she smelled at the pansies, she started skipping all the way home. She walked in her dwelling, went to her mirror and started combing her hair. Soon after, she decided to start writing in her journal and observing his actions from a distance. Within a few days of observing him, she realizes that he loved gardening, had no pets and not a single soul was seen visiting him. She admired him in deed! Later that night, she fell asleep while thinking of the endless possibilities. She open her eyes while lying in bed. It was a crackling sound that awoke her, it came from her bedroom door, as she arose to see who was there. She notices a silhouette the shape of a man taller than her by half a foot, he had dark hair and he had a fair complexion. As she turn the night light on, she saw his beautiful blue eyes and she knew it was him. Days later, her body was found. Her last words in her diary were written as followed, “I smile at the pansies as they smile at me. He is quiet, dreamy and his eyes are the color of the skies\".
