I deleted all the photos, all the messages, all the contacts,

I deleted all the things, though the memories are still intact.

I have the memories still inside, still opened wide, both day and night,

I have the memories on a coaster ride, spinning and gliding left to right.

Something doesn’t sit right, in my stomach to know your gone,

Something doesn’t feel like this is right and that it’s wrong.

A divorce, a break up, something we can’t take back,

A divorce that drives you mad, a breakup of something you’ve always wished to have.

I can’t ever erase, the actions that took place,

I can’t ever escape, the nightmares of where you fade.

Faded like fog, in the day or night,

Faded like fog, it still doesn’t seem right.

You’re gone, and that is it,

You’re gone, with both your verbal and physical presence.

One more memory I have to delete,

One more memory that contains both you and me.
