This right here, this is a poem I composed almost a year ago for English class, I wrote it in roughly twenty minutes but I thought, "hell, let's upload it, why not?!" I think it's somewhat decent and if anyone gets even a smidge of enjoyment out of it then I'll go ahead and say it fulfilled its destiny. ENJOY!

Billions

Billions and billions inside my head

Wiring and codes running through my mind

Every one a needle and thread

Neuron by neuron

Cell by cell

My memories locked inside

But remembered at will

Something my mind must abide

Everything I know

Close and far

So simple in appearance

But complexity outpacing the stars

My mind is part of me

But I am not part of my mind

But an invaluable part

Even more important than my heart
