Ten thousand shouts of souls departing

Ten thousand wounds are flowing

Ten thousand screams chilling

Ten thousand thoughts ending.

Ten thousand feast till fat

Ten thousand rivers red.

Ten thousand given to the ages

Ten thousand transformed to fading memory

Ten thousand mourn

Ten thousand burden loss

Ten thousand questions

Ten thousand wonder what they did

A million men denied a life

A million reasons divine

A millions wars of different gods

A million committed violence

A billion too many given to a question

What is divine?
