Dear Alcohol

I see you in the window pain,

And all I see is guilt and shame.

You always had just such a grip,

We always walked right hip to hip.

It's come the time I let you go,

You try to kill me oh so slow.

You make so much of want and need,

It's time for me that I must heed.

When I see you I must run,

What we had just was not fun.

It's now the time I can not lie,

Our relationship just has to die.

So good bye evil alcohol,

This was the last I'll ever fall.

Now that things are looking up,

Never again will you see my cup.
