The Boy I Called Numb

How can you be so cold to me
you always ran out of words to say
I pretend to be okay
while you act like nothing happened anyway

It's been 3 months and a day
but you're still a stranger to me
Something was wrong
I cannot go on

you said your heart can't love
and I know why it was so numb,
because of me there was a threat
boy you don't wanna end with regret

We hold each other dear
but it seems like you ain't near
people around you are a fright
still I wanna hold on and fight

I will imitate a heroine for you
Just don't say that we're through
I'll wait until you say you love me
Then we'll stay as forever will be
