Every time I hear whistle of wind or blowing breeze hear,

I think of you veteran dear

For, what is mine

wouldn't be so fine

without you.

You are the glue

that holds our country up.

We always fall upon our butt,

but you shall always be there to catch us

I hope for the day you'll not be a must

A day of peace

and fighting cease.

Then tears can be wiped away.

That would be a great day!
