Be yourself. If you are destined to be a winner - win. If you are destined to be a loser - lose. Accept what you are. When you do this - life will be much more simple.

The Paparazzi Pig in a Wig

A pig in high heels and wig
Wearing earrings of figs
Dances the jig does this pig in a wig
Life is not lived unless viewing a pig do a jig
With high heels and wig and earrings of figs
In a puddle of mud it slips, flops and drops with a thud
Just a big fat pig in a puddle of mud
No more. No less. No one to impress
What’s not to love with a pig in the mud?
The Paparazzi surround this pig
With heels, wig and earrings of figs,
“How does it feel to live this way?” they would say to this pig in the mud,
The pig simply shrugs
“Do you wish to die? Think of all the joy you give when alive!” they retort
The pig simply snorts,
“I wish to live by the laws of the pig. Pigs don’t jig.
Pigs don’t wear high heels or wigs. They have no earrings of figs
Pigs live in the mud. Pigs don’t think. They stink!
 I am what I am.
Bacon or ham – maybe somebody’s Spam.
 Nothing more. Nothing less.
My worlds a big sloppy mess!” confessed this pig who jigged
A slobbery pig with high heels and wig
The Paparazzi looked at the mess and replied,
“You like this sty? Tell us. Think you can fly? Surely you want more?
Don’t miss opportunity when it knocks at the door!”
The pig no longer jigged and was left to explore
The life of a pig and nothing more
Took off the heels and wig. Ate the figs
“You see, I’m a pig – far removed from the brute of a boar
I really don’t need anymore. I know I can. Therefore,
I am what I am. Nothing more
Bacon or ham – maybe somebody’s spam.”
With this was said no more
This pig is a pig. For the first time today, it lives
Free from the chore of what others adore
It’s a pig. No less. No more
