Do you have "black friends"? "White friends"? Why not - simply friends. Color something with just one color - not very pretty.

Race/Colors

If all skin were lost
Simply tossed
Without skin we’d be the same
Bones, blood, eyes and brain
No face. No race
Expressionless stare lost somewhere
Out of place
Think of pink and how it hides
Resides
In every one of us forever inside
Disguised
The clouds, the moon the sun and the rain
Change
Black and blue and red and green
Skinny and fat
Nice. Mean
We’re all the same
What makes it beautiful is
Change
No two alike
The sea needs a sail and the wind needs a kite
What you hate you might just like
If you only try
How high can be high if you’re forever low?
Will you grow?
Only the seed inside you knows
Ask any child which crayon is the most beautiful of all
In their innocent way they will save the day and say,

“I like them all!”
