Life goes by so fast.

You and me tonight, Oh, just you and me tonight.

You see my eyes, you know what I want.

Run my hands through your hair,

Oh your beauty, it just ain’t fair.

Only thing on my mind, is you.

Only thing in the world to me, is you.

Oh, these feelings you give me. I put em’ into words,

try to make em' rhyme, Just give me a reason,

I swear I'm going blind. Is this really happening?

This can't be the truth.

Why would God make me the lucky man to have you.

Mistakes, regret, they fog up my thoughts.

You take me by the hand, and show me the true time on the clock.

Oh, it's gone by so fast. I swear just yesterday I was forgetting how to breath.

Now it's a been year, and I barely recognized the man in the mirror.

It’s amazing how your love melts my fear.

The way you make me smile, the way you make me feel.

You take my pain and show me that it ain’t real.

You take the walls I’ve used to block people out for so long.

And let them crumble to the ground, like a castle in the sand.

Cause some people go through life never knowing what life is like,

But with God’s blessing of you, I can say I got the chance to.
