Jayin was surely about to have a day that would change his life forever. As he walked down the street as he did every day, he noticed that someone was following him.
"What do you guys want?" asked Jayin of three tall, rather muscular boys stepped out from the shadow of a tree. Jayin had seen them before and knew them quite well. They were the bullies of the school; Brad, Derek, and James. They all played football and believed that anyone who didn't or couldn't were stupid.
"Nothing Jayin," said Brad, the ringleader of the group. Not because he was the smartest or the strongest, but because he was the only one that could talk English, not primate. Or so Jayin had been told by several nerds, debate geeks, and chess clubbers.
"You guys don't walk this way so leave me alone," ordered Jayin and he turned and started to walk towards school. He was grabbed on the shoulder by one of the three.
"We just want to have a talk, but since you are being a jerk. I guess we will have to teach you some manners," said Brad, then he signaled to his friends to surround Jayin.
Jayin had never liked being confined, ever since he was released from the labs and had had a choice on whether or not he was put in one. They began to close in on him and suddenly Jayin screamed and shut his eyes as if the problem would go away.
“Don’t shout it will all be over in a…” before Brad could finish his sentence Jayin started to glow with an unearthly green light. The bullies were mesmerized by the glow and despite their inner want to run found that they were helpless to do so. Then the light shot out smacking the bullies away from Jayin, who remained were he was.
Jayin opened his eyes and saw the bully gang sprawled out everywhere. He walked over to them and noticed that they had burns on they’re skin and the smell of the singed flesh filled the air.
Meanwhile, in a research facility not far from where Jayin lived, an alarm went off. An intern nearly fell from the chair that until the alarm had gone off had been a bed; he stood up looked at the readings on the control screen and then ran out of the room saying to himself “It can’t be, it can’t be.”
He walked into a large room walked over to a desk at the other side of the room from the door and shouted “It happened.”
“So you finally found out didn’t you. Go use whatever means necessary to bring it here, NOW.”
