This is to the one who I should have never pushed away. I'm sorry and I hope you read this.

Too scared to believe it was true;

I pushed myself away from you.

That summer still holds my heart.

Thinking of you I fall apart.

I miss the long walks.

I wont forget the neverending talks

about nothing at all.

I miss your touch and every call.

Remember when we set your feild on fire?

I promise you I'm not a liar

When I said you are my best friend

I ment I'd love you until the end.

I can picture the lake and the dock

where we sat to have a talk.

The first time you said you loved me

was on that night. Cant you see

I wish I could take back the mistakes I made

that night when in darkness I layed

my life out to be destroyed?

I threw your love away and made a void,

a hole I drilled inside my soul.

Breaking your heart was never my goal.

I know my words probably mean nothing now.

But if there's a way tell me how

to get you to believe this was all a mistake.
