Standing at the edge of a waterfall

With a gun to my head

Two choices remain

I could get shot

Go out without a fight

Or I could jump

With a chance for survival

I've always been a fighter

Never giving up

But maybe it's time

Time to learn to let go

Even if it's killing me

Let you walk out of my life

Just like all the rest

What's the point of holding on

If you've already let go

Is my strength enough

Can I keep us together

Will you drop the gun

Take the jump with me

If not then pull the trigger

End all of this

Make my sacrifices seem

As though they were made in vain

I will still love you

I can't just stop

Even though you have

My love for you will never change

I said I'd love you forever

and that's what I'll do

what would you do if you were me?
