For My Muse (Dawn's Song III)

Poem by: Jaywrite44

Summary

I have a new muse and did not even realize it. She pointed it out to me. My apologies for not recognizing and paying proper tribute sooner. You inspire me more than you know.

Every poet has a muse.
Who in life is yours?
Mine pointed it out to me,
She's someone I adore.

My words had been long lost;
No writing for years.
And then a new person
In my life suddenly appears.

She returned to me joy I lost,
I thought it mine no more.
But my muse revealed herself
And I'm writing like before.

Never could I repay you,
No word, love, kiss, or touch
Could pay the debt I owe for
Returning the words I missed so much.
