When I think of you,
I think of nature's splendor and glory.
I imagine a rainbow stretching across the horizon.
But the rainbow will fade away.
My love for you never fades.
I think of a sunset splashing colors across the sky.
But the colors fade away.
My love for you never fades.
Perhaps my love compares to a star.
It is seen by all and lasts millions of years.
But a million years will come and go
As time fades away.
Does nature offer no comparison to my love?
I stand and mock the laws of nature and time.
For eventually, this world, this universe,
And all of nature's splendor and glory within
Will fade away.
My love for you never fades.
