My opinion of the state of society.

What's wrong with the world today?
Kids growing up with nowhere to play.
Guns in the classroom and hate on their minds.
I look for peace and what do I find?
War and hate and evil and guns for hire.
I look to the heavens but the steeple's on fire.
People killing people for the clothes they wear.
It's not safe to be alive, you get shot for a stare.
You can't love unless you look like your lover.
If you're mixing it up, you have to live undercover.
Why can't we love whoever we're seeing?
We're not black or white, we're just human beings.
We have crooked politicians running the show.
People living in the street with nowhere to go.
We have the money to fight a war
But not enough to feed the poor.
It is just not right, something has to give.
It's such a sad place, this place where we live.
We must come together if we're gonna make it right.
So don't sit back, stand up and fight!
Let's all join together and we can get it done.
And then all the world can live as one.
