Wandering alone,

Lost and scared,

I call your name,

Because you said you cared.

I hear your voice,

Faintly at first,

But that sweet sound,

Tells me I'm over the worst.

Relieved to finally see you,

I rush to your side,

Finally free,

Not having to hide.

I hug you, kiss you,

Promising to never let you go,

And how much I love you,

You'll never know.

Holding tightly to you,

I hear your heart beat fast,

I can't help but be happy now,

Because I've found something to last.
