I wrote this on a forum where you had a word to use in a poem, and once you'd written yours, you left a word for the next person. My word was unreal

The appropriate smile and hello
A saddening misuse of my lips
That are meant to be down
Pulled into a frown
For here no happiness exists
The unreal smile I show
The usual ingenuine hello
It's all just an act
There's no going back
To the me I used to know
So I'd rather pretend
That I don't care
Than to acknowledge the smile
That's no longer there
