If I ran away from this life one day,
would you try to find me?
Would you hold me in your arms,
and beg me to stay?
Or would you set me free?

With each day that passed,
without your name on my lips.
Would our love still last?
Or would it fall away like sand,
through your finger tips.

If I found my way to your door step,
would you let me into your place?
Could you look me in the eyes,
and know all of the feelings I've kept?
Would you turn away from the look on my face?

Would you just let me leave?
As you watch me slowly walk away,
knowing our love has died, would you grieve?
Or would you call to me just one last time,
knowing our love could never go astray?

If I were lost,
would you find me?
