He paints upon a canvas
For his special clientele
He'll paint butterflies, valentines, flowers
Skulls and crossbones, fires of Hell

He doesn't like to talk much
'Cause he needs a steady hand
He wants to satisfy his client
So they get just what they've planned

His customers will vary
Men and women, young and old
He'll make every one of them wince and bleed
Before his work is sold

His work can never be stolen
And most the world will never see
The client will keep the artwork close
Through their eternity

He is a tattoo artist
In his creations he takes pride
So just be patient while he's working
Or he'll take it from your hide
