Ah, Love (?)...

The shadows on the walls

Are made from teardrops

And the sleepless nights

Are fashioned from the lies.

Parting words

Strike like bolts of lightning

As stormy clouds

Swallow clear blue skies.

These kinds of storms

Are like thieves in the night

And what is taken

Is the fabric of the heart.

All their dreams

Are like sails of their ship

But the wind of this storm

Has torn them apart.

Sometimes it passes

And the rainbow comes again

The clouds are gone

And the sky is mellow blue.

They take a breath

From the air of new beginnings

Then start again

'cause that's what lovers do.

Stormy relationships fit well with some kinds of writing, Countrywestern and Blues songs always come to mind. --- Hope you liked it.
